Fatima's husband has been sent to war, but when news reaches the sisters that he has defected to the rebellious Free Army their lives are thrown into chaos.Knowing they will be punished if they stay, Fatima and Aya flee for Turkey with a stranger sent by Fatima's husband to keep them safe.
