Tom Hollander stars in this biographical drama based on the life of Welsh poet Dylan Thomas. Set in 1953 as Thomas (Hollander) embarks on a journey to New York with his girlfriend Liz Reitell (Phoebe Fox), the story follows the poet as he travels around the States doing poetry readings with the ultimate goal of meeting composer Igor Stravinsky. As he continues to abuse his body with alcohol, drugs and infidelity, Thomas begins to lose control of his life and quickly finds himself on a downward spiral to destruction. Hollander won the BAFTA Award for Best Actor.
