Odessa Young, Josh O'Connor and Olivia Colman star in this British drama based on Graham Swift's novel. On Mothering Sunday 1924, Jane Fairchild (Young), a 22-year-old maid employed at Beechwood House by Mr and Mrs Niven (Colin Firth and Colman), spends the day with her clandestine lover, law student Paul Sheringham (O'Connor), who is engaged to be married.
